Ham Wall – April 2024

What a spectacular month April 2024 was in terms of bird sightings. Here are some of my favourite images taken at RSPB Ham Wall, starting with the arrival of Meg (ringed) and her mate (not ringed) who built a nest here and later successfully raised their colt. Crane hatchlings are called “colt” because they have long legs and can run soon after hatching.
