Willow Tits





These Willow Tit images were taken at Fairburn Ings in January 2022.
The national Willow Tit report dated November 2022 states that the national population declined by 86% between 1995 and 2020 and that in November 2022 the UK population was estimated to be nearly 5,700 breeding pairs. The RSPB website currently shows the figure to be 3,400 with the conservation status shown as “not assessed”.
