Pheasants fighting

Just when you think you are going to have a quiet relaxing morning, sitting in a hide, watching the world go by, there is an explosion of colour and two stunningly beautiful male pheasants hit their self destruct buttons and embark on the battle of their lives right in front of you. So it happened on a visit to RSPB Fairburn Ings and what a spectacle it was.
