Noah’s Hide

It’s the middle of October and the weather has become variable. We’ve made the most of a few lovely sunny days by visiting Noah’s Hide on the Avalon Marshes. Now that the weather has changed and the rain has set in, I am enjoying processing my pictures and seeing again the stunning wildlife which also enjoyed those few lovely days.

The first couple of images are of a juvenile kestrel which has been keeping itself busy in this area recently. It hasn’t got its timing quite right yet though. As you can see it was so close to catching the butterfly, but the butterfly flew by. How about the otter with a rather large eel. Or the marsh harrier with those beautiful markings.
