Riet Vell

Reserva Natural Riet Vell is situated on the Ebro Delta, Spain, and forms part of an organic farm, the main crop being rice which is sold in the visitors’ centre. This is one of the very best birding reserves we have been to and will always recommend it to other birdwatchers. There is parking for 8-10 vehicles, a small shop and toilets in the visitors’ centre. There is one hide a short distsance away which is elevated so that you have very good views in front of it. Whether you visit it at dawn, dusk or midday, there is always some wildlife to watch.
