Camargue

We visited the Camargue for a few days during a very hot September. It’s an intriguing area but vast so a car is necessary. Reserves offered the best birdwatching and the small entry fees were well worth paying as the birdwatching was superb. One of the reserves fed some of the birds, see the cattle egret pictured below making the most of a free lunch! It is a beautiful area and we will visit it again during one of the cooler months.
